Welcome to our SiteWelcome to the Somerset County Liberal Democrats' website. With 22 members, we are the main opposition group on Somerset County Council. Against the background of a massive anti-Labour swing to the right - which happened right across Europe - we achieved 36.6% of the vote. This was the highest recorded Lib Dem vote across the country on June 4th 2009, including the European elections, so puts us in a strong position to fight back.
